We were delighted to bring to Switzerland from Canada the (im)mobile exhibition showcasing the works of Swiss artist Edith Flückiger and Canadian artist Germaine Koh. (im)mobile was originally presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery, Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2014. The two artists in (im)mobile presented conceptual artwork, made up of electronic installation, video, digital text pieces in a conversation surrounding mobility and stillness. New works from both artists were included in this Swiss exhibition.
Following their Halifax residency in 2013, the two artists created the collaborative mapping game Tracing Tracks part of the Canadian exhibition project available online at http://tracingtracks.com/.
This project was made possible thanks to financial support from the Mobiliar Genossenschaft, Casimir Eigensatz Stiftung, Dr. Georg und Josi Guggenheim Stiftung, Stadt Luzern FUKA-Fonds and the Canadian Council for the Arts.
