White Frame, Groupe Intervention Vidéo and Bildwechsel joined forces last April to present Rendering Time. The project was an initiative from White Frame who wished to underline the 50th anniversary of women’s suffrage introduced in Basel on June 26th, 1966. Furthermore, White Frame highlighted the continuous work of two organisations: Groupe Intervention Vidéo (GIV) and Bildwechsel dedicated to present a panoramic view of women’s artists working in the media arts. This one-day event in Hamburg and in Basel saluted through five curated programs by Nicole Gingras, Dayna McLeod, Chantal Molleur, Chris Regn et Cheryl Sim, the contribution of women’s artists subversiveness of convention of norms and forms, challenging themselves and expanding our viewer experience.
